The Clerk’s Office handles civil judicial foreclosures, also known as commissioner’s sales. These are property sales scheduled for auction by court order. They are held on Thursdays at noon in the courthouse’s rotunda and are open to the public. Please see the list of upcoming auctions below.
Non-judicial foreclosures are auctions without a civil case. They are conducted by other entities, such as auction houses, bankruptcy firms, and individuals. They are not affiliated with the Clerk’s Office, and we do not keep a list of non-judicial foreclosures. Please contact the firm directly for more information.
For information concerning delinquent tax property sales, visit the State Land Commissioner’s website.
The Clerk’s Office does not perform title/lien searches. Individuals interested in designated properties must complete a title/record search or hire a title company to do one. The property is sold as is with no warranty. The Clerk’s Office, the Clerk, or a member of the Clerk’s staff does not provide legal advice regarding property designated for sale.
