Early voting starts today

(PULASKI, ARK.) – Pulaski County Circuit and County Clerk Terri Hollingsworth reminds residents that early voting begins today for the 2024 General Election and ends on Monday, November 4. Thirteen early voting sites will be open for voters to cast their ballot.

“Early voting isn’t just a convenience−it’s a commitment to making your voice heard, said County Clerk Terri Hollingsworth. “Voters can cast their ballots at any of the 13 early voting locations in Pulaski County that are near them.”

For a sample ballot, click here. Enter your first and last name and date of birth to view all three ballots and candidates. Sample ballots are unique to an individual’s address. Voters can review or print their sample ballot before heading to the polls.

EARLY VOTING

All early voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The last day to vote early will be Monday, November 4. The only site open will be the Pulaski County Regional Building, 501 West Markham in Little Rock, and it will close one hour early at 5 p.m. Dunbar Recreation Center is a temporary early voting site replacing Sue Cowen Library. Also, Shorter College is a new voting site.

ABSENTEE VOTING

Request: Voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot can submit their request by email, mail, fax or in person at 401 West Markham Street. The deadline to request their ballot to be mailed to them is October 29. The deadline to request in person by the voter and/or their designated bearer is November 1 before 5:00 p.m.

Return: Pulaski County voters and/or their designated bearer have until November 1 before 5:00 p.m. to return their completed ballots in person to the courthouse. Absentee ballots that were mailed by the voter must be received by the County Clerk’s Office before 7:30 p.m. on election day.
