Municipal Filing Week for Pulaski County, Arkansas Scheduled for July 29th Through August 5th
PULASKI COUNTY, AR. — Candidates seeking municipal office in cities across Pulaski County are reminded that the municipal filing period will take place July 29th through August 5th at the Pulaski County Courthouse Rotunda, 401 W. Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72201.
Individuals interested in running for municipal offices, including mayor, city council, clerk, recorder, treasurer, or other elected city positions, should file during the designated filing period in accordance with Arkansas election laws and local procedures.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to verify filing requirements, office qualifications, filing fees, and submission deadlines with their respective city clerk or the appropriate election official before filing.
Municipal elections play a vital role in shaping local communities by selecting the leaders who make decisions on public safety, infrastructure, economic development, parks, and other essential city services. Eligible residents who are considering public service are encouraged to participate in the electoral process.
